University managers

If you are an active member of your student community and want to get a taste of what it would be like to work with us, why not apply to become one of our University Managers?

As one of our ambassadors you will work closely with our trainee recruitment team to deliver campus events, attraction campaigns, and raise awareness of opportunities which students can gain with us. You will develop invaluable experience in marketing, advertising and networking, and also work closely with a range of representatives from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Why apply?

You will gain a better insight into who we are as a firm and how we operate, whilst meeting a range of people along the way. Not only will this be a great opportunity to learn more about us, but it will also be a big advantage when it comes to applying for our vacation scheme and training contract should you wish to pursue a career in law.

Throughout your time as university manager, we will assess your performance and ask you to submit a portfolio. The person we feel has gone above and beyond the role, will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands on work experience in the London office. This could be in one of our legal teams, or if you prefer, within our marketing department.

We offer £500 per academic year to each successful candidate and we will also reimburse all travel expenses incurred during the application process.

Application process

The assessment process will involve an online application form, a telephone interview and face to face interview at our London office.

If successful we will invite you to attend an induction programme in July 2017 to fully prepare you for the year ahead.

Applications opened on 1 March 2017 and will close on 14 April.

Who can apply?

You will need to be an outgoing individual with a passion for hosting events and writing/sharing appropriate posts on social media channels. A positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication and organisational skills are also essential.

You must be in your first year of a 3 year degree or second year of a 4 year, and you can be from any degree discipline.
