Career-long development

Your development will start on your very first day and will continue however far you progress here. Ongoing training will ensure that your skills stay sharp and relevant. And you will build your experience by the day, through involvement in work that is both fascinating and career-enhancing.

Training

This will come in many forms. Through involvement in international and industry-focused work, you will develop your commercial experience, technical skills and global outlook. Our in-house training team will prepare you for each new seat – helping you strengthen your professional, business and technical legal skills. And, as you will be sitting with a partner or senior associate, you will be exposed to every aspect of our work.

Mentorship

Throughout the training contract and beyond, you will be able to draw upon the guidance and support of a partner mentor. They will be there to offer career insights and resolve any concerns you may have. Their support will help you tailor your training contract. In addition, their advice will help you decide on your future direction.

Career–long development

After your training contract, we will continue to give you the support you need to make purposeful, long-term progress – whether that is the business skills needed to take you to the next stage of your career, the new language you need to pursue international ambitions, or the technical knowledge you require to move into a particular sector. You will also attend our international academies, where associates come together from around our global firm to share ideas and develop new skills.

We will invest heavily in your future, because you will be such a big part of ours. And we will do all we can to help you become the highly competent lawyer and business adviser that our clients around the world demand.
